Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and I commend you for considering support during this chapter of your life. I work with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, grief and loss, relationship challenges, chronic health conditions, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed by difficult experiences, or uncertain about how to move forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. Together, we'll explore the challenges affecting your emotional well-being while identifying your strengths and building practical tools that support healing, resilience, and meaningful growth. Whether you're coping with a recent life change, managing ongoing mental health concerns, or seeking greater clarity and balance, therapy can help you move forward with confidence.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that each person brings unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives into the therapeutic process, and I tailor treatment to fit your specific goals and needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Motivational Interviewing, Humanistic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Trauma-Informed Care to support lasting change. Together, we'll explore how thoughts, emotions, relationships, and past experiences may be contributing to current challenges while developing healthier coping strategies and patterns. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma symptoms, grief, relationship concerns, chronic illness adjustment, or identity-related challenges, therapy will focus on helping you build resilience, improve emotional regulation, strengthen relationships, and create sustainable progress toward your goals.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive environment where your experiences are respected and your goals remain at the center of our work together. During our first session, we'll take time to discuss what brings you to therapy, identify areas of concern, and begin creating a plan that aligns with your needs and values. As we work together, you may develop stronger coping skills, greater self-awareness, healthier relationships, improved emotional regulation, and increased confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges. My goal is to help you feel empowered, supported, and equipped with practical tools that promote long-term emotional wellness and personal growth.
