Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rebekah! With over 12,500 clinical sessions and a background as a Psychotraumatologist, I specialize in helping people navigate the heavy weight of PTSD and complex trauma. I hold an Ed.S. in Traumatology from Liberty University and have spent years building a practice focused on resilience and hope. My goal is to help you move beyond just "surviving" so you can truly live well for the rest of your life, often without feeling the need to self-medicate or take certain prescriptions, etc. I primarily do this by using your chosen trauma-informed exposure and/or expressive art treatment methods to regulate your body and reduce your intrusive symptoms of PTSD (e.g., hypervigilance, anger, irritability, triggers, isolation, risky behavior, sleep and focus difficulties, etc.), within your brain where the trauma(s) are stored.

My approach to therapy

I bring a motherly, nurturing energy to our work, but my AuDHD brain means I am also clear and straightforward—I won’t leave you guessing. I specialize in evidence-based methods like Written Exposure Therapy (WET) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (5-NET), which help us organize and process your story without getting lost in it. Together, we focus on building discernment and reclaiming your power.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental environment where you are truly heard. We will spend time getting to know your unique story and identifying the specific areas where you feel stuck. My goal is for you to walk away from our first meeting with a sense of hope and a clear, manageable plan for how we will tackle your goals together.
