Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Regan Harker, Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia, with 15+ years of professional experience. I offer a holistic approach to individual therapy, making clients feel heard, understood, and helping adults heal from anxiety, depression, and past trauma. I attended the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University. I have worked in diverse settings including emergency, outpatient, intensive in-home, and schools. I have openings Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 5:30pm.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and goal-oriented. I want you to feel heard, understood, engaged, and connected. I will help you learn to solve your problems better and make fundamental changes in your life, and with my help you will learn sustainable skills on your own. I approach each session with an open mind and bright attitude and cannot wait to work with you.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm, engaging atmosphere in virtual sessions. I am open and non-judgemental so you will feel heard and understood. You will learn how to solve your problems, make decisions, and experience greater happiness and life satisfaction. You will learn how to use evidence based tools and coping skills on your own. We will develop sustainable habits and routines in our sessions.
