Great to meet you!

If you feel stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break, whether it’s anxiety, trauma, or behaviors you thought you’d have control over, you’re not alone. You may be holding everything together on the outside while inside it feels overwhelming, heavy, or out of control.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience supporting adults through these challenges. I provide a calm, nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore what’s beneath the surface while also learning practical tools that create real, lasting change.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based care. I integrate EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you better understand the “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while building skills to help you feel more regulated, grounded, and in control.

I specialize in behavioral addictions and compulsive patterns, including technology use, pornography, gambling, shopping, and other impulse-driven coping, as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life stress. These struggles are often connected to deeper experiences like shame, stress, or unresolved past events, and therapy offers a structured, supportive way to work through them.

My style is warm, supportive, and practical. I believe therapy should move at your pace while still helping you make meaningful progress. You don’t have to carry this alone, together, we’ll work toward healthier, more sustainable patterns that align with who you want to be.

I earned my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2016 and provide convenient telehealth sessions to support accessibility and consistency in care.

If you’re ready to better understand yourself, feel more in control, and begin making real changes, I’m here to help.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, collaborative, and focused on creating meaningful, lasting change. I believe that many of the challenges people face, like anxiety, depression, or compulsive behaviors—are connected to deeper emotional experiences, past events, or patterns that developed over time.

In our work together, we’ll focus on understanding the “why” behind what you’re experiencing while also building practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control in your day-to-day life. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support both insight and action.

My style is warm, nonjudgmental, and supportive. I believe therapy should move at your pace while still helping you make steady progress. This is a space where you can be honest, explore what’s really going on beneath the surface, and begin working toward healthier, more sustainable patterns.

Ultimately, my goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges, and more aligned with the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, low pressure way. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand, this is a space where you can start wherever you are.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and any patterns you’ve noticed, but we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and respected from the very beginning.

We’ll also begin identifying goals for therapy and talk about what working together might look like, including approaches and tools that could support you. Many clients leave the first session feeling a sense of relief, clarity, and hope about next steps, even if things still feel difficult.

Above all, this is your space. You can expect honesty, collaboration, and a focus on helping you feel more comfortable, more understood, and more in control moving forward.
