Great to meet you!

I am an Experienced Outpatient Therapist with a Masters degree in Social Work from UNC-Chapel Hill. I have a demonstrated history of working in the mental health care industry and I am a strong advocate for mental health care. I am skilled in Women's Issues, Christian Counseling, Assertiveness Training, helping persons individually work on relationship issues, skills training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and working with adolescent girls. Also working with group and individual therapy.

My approach to therapy

My style is eclectic and individualized to each person. I specialize in meeting people where they are and treating the whole individual. I’m an outside of the box thinker. I believe that no one wants to be sad all the time, and that with the right tools, improvements can be made.

What you can expect from me

After sessions with me, clients can expect to have gained more insight into themselves and into their situations. Clients will learn more tools for their toolbox that they can use for symptom management. Clients can expect to learn that there may be a better way to respond to an issue, and to view situations with a more positive outlook.
