Great to meet you!

I am a Black queer trans social worker, born and raised in New York. I am licensed to practice clinical social work in Maryland and approach therapy with curiosity, patience, and hopefulness.

My approach to therapy

I come to therapy with beliefs that are deeply rooted in my own journey of personal development and growth. I approach therapy with the understanding that our past experiences shape us, but they don't define who we can become. In therapy, we'll explore how your early memories influence your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By understanding the narratives that come from these experiences, we can work toward healing and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

I utilize EMDR to support you in reprocessing difficult memories and transform negative emotional learning. CBT and ACT will support this work, helping you integrate new insights into your daily life. Together, we'll give every part of you a voice, allowing you to move beyond the limitations of your past and step into a future of healing and self-actualization.
