Great to meet you!

I am an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community and my passion is to provide a safe space for both adolescents and adults, from all backgrounds, who are motivated to recover from all of life's stressors. I like to help clients learn how to acknowledge and process their past, but focus on their Here & Now, and what they want in their future. Tell me what you need, and we will figure out how to get there!

My approach to therapy

My approach is eclectic and client-centered, primarily Relational and based in Choice Theory/Reality Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Polyvagal and others. I enjoy researching new modalities in my spare time, and am always learning something new. I currently hold a certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, as well. You can expect empathy, patience, non-judgement, and authenticity, but I'm not afraid to challenge those stuck points.

What you can expect from me

Every person's goals are different, however, I think we can all agree that we go to therapy because something isn't working for us and we need change! Clients will learn that their choices matter, and that choices lead to change. You don't like something? Change it! Is it easy? NO! If it was, we'd all do it. We'll explore what can be changed and what can't. Together, we'll process the past, and then figure out how to stop letting it hold you back. You don't have to feel like this forever!
