Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rhonda Thomas, LCSW—a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland and Virginia with over a 15 years of experience helping individuals heal from trauma, manage stress, and reconnect with themselves. I specialize in recovery from toxic family systems and/or toxic intimate relationships, helping to increase your understanding and navigating out of them. For anyone that suffers from the emotional weight of past experiences or juggling the daily demands of parenting, I provide a safe and supportive space for you to slow down, reflect, and grow. Let’s connect—healing starts with one step.

My approach to therapy

As a mom and mental health professional, I will work with you to explore your feelings without judgment. Together, we use proven methods to reduce anxiety, process trauma, and improve your relationships. My goal is to help you move from surviving to thriving, offering personalized care that fits your story and needs.

You don’t have to face this alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit, or schedule in my available slots. I proudly serve adults in Maryland and Virginia.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to enter a treatment experience in which I will meet you where you are. I have a warm and comforting approach. I am transparent and will work with you to develop the healing pathways best suited for your life.
