Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling, a MA in Humanities, and a BA in Psychology. I have worked with a all kinds of people from adolescents to adults experiencing the wide range of troubling experiences with anxiety, depression, bullying, grief, and more. Many of my clients are people who have reached a point in their life where old patterns of thought, feeling and behavior are no longer serving them and they desire change. Prior to working in mental health counseling, I served in the United States Air Force and later had a career in business leadership. I live with my wife and children on our family horse ranch in rural Minnesota.

My approach to therapy

I am a Person-Centered Psychotherapist believing that each person is born with the desire for well-ness and with the wisdom and ability to achieve it. That means you set the pace while we work together to achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

Sessions are a time for you to feel safe in a comfortable space with a person focused on striving to learn and understand you and what it is like for you in your life. You will experience an environment of warmth, empathy, unconditional acceptance, non-judgement, compassion, and thoughtful reflection as we work together to achieve your mental health and relational goals.
