Great to meet you!

I’m Richard Pino, a board-certified therapist with a Master’s degree from The University of New England, dedicated exclusively to men’s mental health in Austin, Texas, and serving clients throughout Texas and New Mexico.

With over 40 years of marriage, three grown sons, and eight grandchildren, I’ve navigated life’s highs and lows—overcoming a dysfunctional upbringing, anger, anxiety, and depression.

My personal journey fuels my passion for helping men transform their lives. I’ve turned my own failures into strengths, and I thrive on guiding men who’ve faced setbacks to find clarity, confidence, and purpose.

As the highest-rated men’s counseling practice in Austin, recognized as Best of the Best by the Austin American Statesman, I offer a unique, men-centric environment tailored to your complex needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is action-oriented, directive, and customized to you. I focus on problem-solving, helping you identify physical cues, recognize thoughts, consider consequences, and implement practical solutions.

Trained in EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness, I address issues like anxiety, anger, depression, PTSD, and relationship challenges.

I work with men of all ages, cultures, and orientations, creating a working partnership that respects your unique story and goals.

My therapy isn’t about endless reflection—it’s about equipping you with effective execution skills to reshape your reality and achieve personal mastery.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you’ll gain more than just solutions—you’ll uncover a new way of thinking, feeling, and being. You’ll learn to:
