Great to meet you!

Many of the challenges that bring people to therapy have been building for years. Anxiety that keeps returning. Relationships that follow the same frustrating patterns. Thoughts that make it difficult to move forward even when you want things to be different. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand those patterns and begin changing them.

For more than 17 years, I've helped children, adolescents, adults, and older adults better understand the thoughts, beliefs, and life experiences that continue to shape how they respond today. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or frustrated by patterns that don't seem to change, I provide a supportive space where we can better understand what's keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe lasting change happens when we understand not only what we're feeling, but why those feelings and behaviors keep showing up. Together, we'll look beneath the surface to identify patterns that may have developed over time and explore healthier, more effective ways of responding to life's challenges.

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also drawing from Transactional Analysis and other evidence-based approaches when they're helpful. I tailor therapy to each person because no two people bring the same story into the room. My approach is always practical: helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your coping skills, improve your relationships, and move forward with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. We'll talk about what's been bringing you to therapy, what you'd like to see change, and begin creating a plan that fits your goals and your life.

Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, and easy to talk to. My hope is that each session leaves you with greater insight into yourself, practical tools you can use in everyday life, and the confidence to navigate whatever comes next with greater clarity and purpose.
