Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm a LCSW in the great state of North Carolina with 5 years of professional work experience working as a Psychotherapist on an assertive community treatment team. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Taking the first step to sign up for therapy can take courage and I look forward to working with anyone who is looking to take that first step.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to work with adults who are motivated to change and willing to engage in therapy. In the past 5 years I have worked with individuals from all backgrounds with a variety of mood disorders and substance use disorders. Most have been successful if they are willing to engage in therapy and have the motivation to change.

What you can expect from our first session

During the first session I like to build rapport with my client's while completing a biopsychosocial assessment. Once we both understand what the presenting problem maybe, we can then create a tailored plan to address the problem or symptoms we have identified to target. I like to use a person-centered approach focusing on a person's strengths and autonomy.

Robert's style is
