Great to meet you!

I’m a trauma-informed therapist with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples navigate estrangement, grief, addiction recovery, and relationship repair. My approach combines compassion with practical, structured support. I’m trained in the Gottman Method (Level 3), family estrangement work informed by Joshua Coleman, and grief education through David Kessler. I also lead virtual support groups for estranged parents and grandparents who are seeking clarity, healing, and hope.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, compassionate, and collaborative. I provide a supportive space where clients can explore difficult experiences while also developing practical tools for healing and change. I integrate structured approaches such as the Gottman Method for couples, along with education around grief, addiction recovery, and family estrangement.

I believe therapy works best when clients feel both understood and empowered, so I balance deep emotional work with clear strategies that help people rebuild connection, set healthy boundaries, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can begin sharing what brings you to therapy at your own pace. We’ll talk about your current challenges, your history, and what you hope might change or improve in your life or relationships. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your experiences and goals, and together we’ll begin identifying what kind of support or direction may be most helpful. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how we might work together and what the next steps in therapy could look like.
