Great to meet you!

It is an honor to guide individuals working through the challenges and changes in life- all within a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment. I am aware that it can be difficult to decide to seek support and important to find the right fit. I offer individual counseling for many issues, including depression, anxiety, issues of self-esteem/self-worth, communication difficulties, coping with long-term health issues, grief and loss, stress management, major life transitions, unresolved trauma and childhood physical/sexual/emotional abuse, and family of origin issues. I have been working in the mental health field for 15 years, with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling.

My approach to therapy

I utilize an eclectic therapeutic orientation that includes approaches such as client-centered, solution focused therapies in addition to my formal training in Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, Nutrition in Mental Health, and Trauma Focused CBT.

What you can expect from me

During our first session we will build rapport while discussing what you would like to get out of engaging in the therapy process. We will discuss goals in a empathic, judgement-free environment. My first priority is to help you make the progress you want to make in this experience.
