Great to meet you!

I help adults navigate anxiety, low mood, and burnout caused by workplace stress, relationship strains, and major life transitions. Having spent over 20 years counseling staff and families within the Montgomery County Public Schools’ EAP, I deeply understand how professional pressure spills into your personal life. Together, we will develop practical, real-world tools to help you feel steadier, more grounded, and back in control.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard while gaining strategies to work through challenges and make meaningful changes. We will identify what is holding you back and build healthier ways of coping to strengthen your confidence and problem-solving skills.

My goal is for you to leave therapy not just with greater self-insight, but with concrete tools, renewed confidence, and a clear sense of hope for what comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, straightforward, and tailored to help you build a more fulfilling, balanced life.

Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I draw from a diverse blend of evidence-based strategies to fit your unique goals:

  • CBT & ACT: We will identify and break the unhelpful thoughts and behavior patterns that leave you feeling stuck (CBT), while practicing psychological flexibility so you can stop struggling with painful thoughts and move toward what matters to you (ACT).
  • Positive Psychology: We won't just focus on what is going wrong—we will actively build on your existing strengths, foster resilience, and invite a sense of fulfillment back into your daily life.

Together, we turn self-insight into actionable steps so you feel steadier and firmly back in control.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive environment where you feel comfortable being yourself and sharing what's on your mind. You don't have to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. Together, we'll explore what's been challenging for you, identify your goals, and develop practical strategies to help you manage stress and navigate life's challenges. My goal is to help you gain greater self-awareness, build confidence in your ability to handle difficulties, and make meaningful changes so you can feel more in control and enjoy life more fully.
