For 30+ years I have worked with people in some of the challenging clinical settings there are, including veterans navigating trauma and serious mental health challenges. In addition, working with offenders in a correctional setting. I am Rodney, an LCSW, and I view this work as a calling. If you have been looking for someone who can handle the complicated, real-life challenges, I am ready.

Every person walks in with a different story and a different belief system, and that is exactly where I begin. I use a strength-based approach, which means we start with what you are already doing right and build from there. I help individuals work through anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, anger, grief, relationship challenges, and substance use, with a particular focus on men's mental health. Between sessions I often give clients something concrete to practice, because real growth happens in the hours outside our appointments too. Spiritual awareness and your personal values are always welcome here. Whether you are coming in as an individual or as a family, I adapt to what fits your life.

1. Our first meeting is a real conversation, not an interrogation. I will ask what brought you in, what has or has not worked before, and what you want your life to look like on the other side of all this. By the end of that first session, you will have a clear sense of whether I am the right fit, and that just showing up was worth it.
