Great to meet you!

Ever feel like your brain just won't cooperate? You know what you need to do, but you can't make yourself do it. You lose things, forget things, start projects you never finish — and you've probably been told to just try harder.

That gets old.

I'm Rodney. I'm a board-certified PMHNP and I work exclusively with adults who think they might have ADHD — or who already know they do and need a provider who actually gets it. ADHD is all I do, which means I'm not guessing.

I'll be straight with you: I talk to my patients like people, not cases. I want to know what your life actually looks like — your job, your relationships, what's driving you crazy — because that's how we figure out what's going to help.

I'm a veteran, and if that's part of your story too, you'll feel that in how I communicate. Direct, no fluff, no runaround.

I see adults across all of North Carolina via telehealth, seven days a week. If this sounds like what you've been looking for, just reach out.

My approach to therapy

I'm not going to overcomplicate this. You come in, we talk about what's actually going on in your life, and we figure out together whether medication makes sense and what that looks like for you.

I start with a thorough evaluation — not a checkbox exercise, but a real conversation about your symptoms, your history, and how things are affecting your day-to-day life. That context matters because ADHD looks different in every person.

If medication is the right move, I prescribe thoughtfully. I'm not handing out stimulants and sending you on your way. We monitor, we adjust, we communicate. You'll always know what we're doing and why.

The goal isn't just symptom management. It's you actually functioning better — at work, at home, in your relationships — in a way that's sustainable long term.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a real conversation, not an interrogation. We're going to talk about what's been going on — how you've been functioning at work, at home, in your relationships — and what's brought you to this point.

I'll ask about your history, your symptoms, and what you've already tried. You don't need to prepare anything or have the right answers. Just show up and be honest with me.

By the end of that first session, you'll know where you stand. If ADHD is the right diagnosis, we'll talk about what that means and what comes next. If medication makes sense, I'll walk you through exactly what to expect — no surprises.

Follow-up visits are straightforward. We check in, see what's working and what isn't, and adjust as needed. I'm not going to disappear between appointments. If something comes up, reach out.

The goal every single visit is simple — you leave with a clear plan and feeling like someone actually listened.
