Great to meet you!

I work with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I especially enjoy supporting LGBTQIA2S+ couples, families seeking parenting support, adolescents, young adults, college students, military personnel, and people processing trauma or navigating major life changes.

I honorably served in the military for 27 years and bring extensive experience working with PTSD, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, infidelity, and substance use and co-occurring disorders. Most importantly, I believe therapy begins with a trusting connection. I meet clients where they are—with compassion, respect, and without judgment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and EMDR. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. Together, we will identify meaningful goals, explore what may be getting in the way, and develop practical tools and encouragement to help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other in a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your current needs, and begin identifying the goals you would like to work toward.

We will also begin considering an approach that feels appropriate for your situation. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and supported as we start building a treatment plan together.
