Great to meet you!

I’m a warm, easygoing, and nonjudgmental Therapist who believes therapy should meet you where you are. I see each session as your space to express yourself openly, feel heard, and work toward what matters most to you. I can be direct when needed while remaining reasonable, fair, understanding, and flexible. My approach is supportive and solution-focused, with an emphasis on practical coping skills to manage stress, navigate feelings of loss, and address patterns that may no longer be serving you. Together, we’ll build healthy ways to move forward with hope, curiosity, and compassion.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is solution-focused, warm, and direct. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where you can express yourself openly, feel heard, and work through challenges at your own pace. At the same time, I believe therapy should provide both support and accountability, helping you identify patterns that may be holding you back and take meaningful steps toward change.

Together, we will focus on practical ways to move forward, including exploring your concerns, identifying solutions, and developing healthier ways of responding to difficult situations. I also incorporate reviewing and practicing coping skills to help you manage emotions, navigate stress, and address maladaptive patterns or behaviors. My goal is for you to leave therapy with greater insight, useful tools, and a clearer sense of how to move forward.

What you can expect from me

From our first session, my hope is that you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, understand what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you would like to work toward.

We will complete the necessary intake information in a smooth and manageable way, without making the process feel overwhelming or stressful. You will also have space to share what is most important to you, ask questions, and begin exploring what may help you move forward.

By the end of our first session, I hope you leave with a sense of hope, a little more clarity about your next steps, and curiosity about what we can work on together in future sessions. Therapy does not have to have everything figured out from the startwe can build that understanding together, one step at a time.
