Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 18 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I specialize in anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, behavioral concerns, school-related challenges, and life transitions.

My background includes school-based mental health, behavioral health, crisis intervention, and special education. In addition to providing therapy, I have extensive experience helping students and families navigate educational systems and access appropriate supports and services.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I take a practical, collaborative approach to therapy. I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and my role is to provide support, insight, and evidence-based strategies to help them reach their goals. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges, building on their strengths, and developing new skills.

My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based approaches. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all path to growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from the process.

My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll identify initial goals and begin developing a plan that feels realistic and meaningful for you.
