Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist working in private practice. I have a BA in Psychology from East Carolina University, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest. I specialize in working with couples, and individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, mood disorders and OCD.

My approach to therapy

I take a number of different approaches to therapy. I focus a lot on Cognitive Behavioral, person centered and a Gottman approach with couples work. What this means is that I will work with you on exploring your fears, and helping you lower guard so that you can fully embrace life and relationships. I am also a EMDR trained Clinician.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to take away a number of things from our sessions. I will provide practical feedback and advice, psycho education about human emotion, and differing perspectives on any given situation.
