Great to meet you!

I’m Rosalyn Stringer, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping people feel heard, understood, and supported. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and substance use challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on creating a safe space where clients can openly talk about what they’re going through. Together, we focus on building practical strategies and treatment plans that support healing, stability, and long-term well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is compassionate, personalized, and centered around you. I believe meaningful mental health care starts with feeling heard, respected, and truly understood. I meet each client where they are and create a safe, welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being open about what you’re experiencing.

Together, we’ll identify your goals, explore what’s been getting in the way of feeling your best, and create a treatment plan that fits your individual needs and lifestyle. Depending on your needs, care may include medication management, education, supportive strategies, and practical tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence.

My goal is not simply to manage symptoms, but to help you feel more balanced, empowered, and equipped to move forward. You don’t have to navigate your mental health journey alone—I’m here to listen, support you, and partner with you every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what you need. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you would like to improve. I’ll create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and sharing openly.

We’ll review your mental health history, current concerns, medications, and personal goals. I’ll take the time to listen, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable with the direction of your care.

By the end of our visit, we’ll begin creating a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. This may include medication management, supportive strategies, education, or other recommendations. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, supported, and confident about the next steps in your mental health journey.
