Great to meet you!

I am glad you are here. I specialize in addressing ADHD, trauma therapy, parenting skills, and education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Strength-Based Approaches to promote wellness in clients to help others feel better.

It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support & empower you in that journey.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina and Florida with 7 years of professional experience working with clients via telehealth. I work with adolescents, adults, and the elderly.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered. I am committed to helping clients identify their needs and goals and working toward achieving them. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance therapy, and Strength-Based therapeutic interventions to help clients build a trusting relationship to work through difficulties they are facing in their day-to-day life. I believe the best way to achieve client well-being is to use multiple therapeutic strategies to create a personalized plan to best fit your needs.

What you can expect from me

I believe each person is unique and has needs that vary. I enjoy working collaboratively with you. In the first session, you can expect us to spend most of the time discussing how you are feeling, asking questions to gain a deeper understanding of what brings you to therapy, and discussing your expectations of therapy. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to your specific needs. I will answer questions you may have about therapy and future therapy sessions.

Typical goals accomplished in therapy can include:

time management, organization techniques, setting routines, improving communication, emotional regulation strategies, parenting skills, building connections, and calming anxious distress.
