Rose Neugroschel

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 10 years of clinical experience. I specialize in treating adults with anxiety, depression, and disordered eating. Additional areas include coping skills for ADHD and Alcohol use disorder. I have a breadth of experience, including medical social work, crisis intervention, management skills training and employee assistance, and community mental health.

My approach is flexible, integrative, and fairly direct. I will ask relevant questions to challenge your thought processes or behaviors. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, as you are the expert on yourself, and I am here to provide expertise, within my scope of Expertise. I aim to be non-judgmental, compassionate, yet challenging.

My approach is integrative, goal-oriented, and I use cognitive-behavioral therapy as a "base", though I will pull from the other evidence-based modalities that I'm trained in, including acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I support the "health at every size" movement and believe that health comes in a variety of sizes and shapes.

You can expect me to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns and ineffective responses to stressors in your life. You can expect non-judgment, honesty, and strategies to help you manage the anxiety and depressive symptoms that brought you to therapy.
