Great to meet you!

I work with clients who are going through tough times emotionally or mentally. They might feel sad, anxious, angry, or lost. Maybe they're having trouble with relationships, stress from school or work, or changes in their life that feel hard to handle. My clients are looking for someone who will truly listen, who won’t judge, and who can help them figure out why they feel the way they do. Most of all, they want to feel better and be able to enjoy life again—with confidence, calm, understand themselves, and learn ways to cope with tough situations.

I earned my degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, and I use evidence-based practices to support people through their mental health challenges. I listen carefully, help manage medication if needed and build a plan that’s just right for each person. My goal is to make sure you feel safe, supported, and heard.

My approach to therapy

Starting mental health treatment can bring up questions and uncertainties—especially when you’re still getting to know your provider. That’s why I prioritize creating a space that feels safe, welcoming, and judgment-free from the moment we meet.

With several years of experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in the outpatient setting, I bring a strong clinical foundation and a deep understanding of the healing process. My approach is collaborative and person-centered. We’ll work together to identify your strengths, build resilience, and move toward meaningful growth.

You deserve to feel better—and I’ll be here to support you through every step of your journey.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will talk about what brought you to treatment and begin building a supportive connection. My approach focuses on understanding your unique experiences in a safe, nonjudgemental space. Together we will strengthen coping skill and explore practical tools to reduce distress and improve daily functioning.
