Dr. Rosnitha Mitchell

I’m Dr. Mitchell, a psychiatric nurse practitioner with over ten years of experience working with individuals in acute and challenging populations in the mental health field. I earned my undergraduate nursing degree from Oregon Health Science University in 2012 and my Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Gonzaga University in 2024.

I am passionate about mental health and dedicated to helping my clients develop effective treatment plans that manage their symptoms and empower them to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. My areas of expertise include psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, with a focus on the adult population.

My approach to care is grounded in the principles of individualized, patient-focused, trauma-informed, culturally competent, and evidence-based practices. I firmly believe that my clients have invaluable insights into their own bodies through lived experiences. By combining their expertise with my training as a clinically skilled mental health provider, we can work together to develop a tailored and effective treatment plan that truly meets their needs.
