Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rossy Solorzano Gabriel, a bilingual therapist who provides therapy in both English and Spanish. I have been working in the mental health field for 4.5 years and hold a Master’s degree in clinical Mental Health Counseling from Winthrop University. I enjoy supporting individuals as they navigate anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, stress, and other challenges that can sometimes feel overwhelming. Most importantly, I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be a space where you can be your authentic self without fear of judgment. Because everyone’s experiences, background, and needs are different, I take an individualized approach and incorporate different therapeutic techniques based on what feels most helpful for you. My approach draws from person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and experiential approaches. I want our work together to feel collaborative, supportive, and focused on helping you better understand yourself and move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a comfortable, trusting space for therapy. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to work on, and what you would like to get out of our time together. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet—I’ll meet you where you are and we can take things one step at a time. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.
