Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor with over 12 years of experience. I work as a counselor, educator and clinical supervisor. I have experience in a variety of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships and life transitions.

Please note that couples counseling is private pay only and I will not bill insurance for this servce.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as the opportunity to explore and understand the story of how you got where you are today. I believe building an accepting environment to have honest authentic communication is important. I adapt to the needs of my client and seek to understand what barriers they are experiencing in getting to the life they would like to live.

What you can expect from me

Sessions should feel like engaging conversations in which we take a problem and gently peel back the layers to fully understand the roots and drivers of a behavior or symptom. Clients should feel as though they understand themselves better and have a clear plan as to the strategies to utilize outside of session to meet their goal in change.
