Great to meet you!
Trauma-Informed, Neurobiology-Based Therapy for Real-Life Healing and Growth
Hi, I’m Russ — a trauma-informed therapist who believes healing happens when you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. My clients often come to me carrying complex stories: trauma that spans years, overwhelming family dynamics, medical challenges, or emotional patterns that feel impossible to break. If that’s you, you’re not alone — and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself.
I bring a warm, conversational, and deeply human approach to therapy. I’m not a distant clinician sitting behind a clipboard. I show up authentically, with humor, compassion, and real-world experience. My clients tell me they appreciate that I’m direct, relatable, and easy to talk to — someone who can explain the brain in plain language, help untangle emotional knots, and walk with them through the hard stuff without judgment.
What I Specialize In
I work especially well with people who are dealing with:
- Complex trauma and PTSD
- Emotional overwhelm, anxiety, and depression
- ADHD, sensory sensitivity, and neurodivergence
- Psychosis, voice-hearing, or dissociation
- Caregiver stress and family system challenges
- LGBTQ+ identity, religious trauma, and life transitions
- Medical complexity, chronic illness, or recovery barriers
If you’ve ever felt misunderstood, dismissed, or overwhelmed by your experiences, you’ll find therapy with me grounding, validating, and empowering.
