Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping adolescents and adults create meaningful, lasting change. Through a combination of therapy and medication management, I work collaboratively with clients to navigate anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, and life's challenges while building greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding. My goal is to help clients develop the skills to move toward what matters most to them, even when difficult thoughts, emotions, or uncertainty are present.

My approach to therapy

I work best with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, ADHD, self-doubt, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and difficulty trusting themselves. Many of my clients are intelligent, capable individuals who feel held back by overthinking, fear of failure, difficulty focusing, or a harsh inner critic.

My approach is not focused on eliminating anxiety altogether. Instead, I help clients develop a healthier relationship with anxiety and self-doubt so these experiences no longer control their decisions, relationships, or goals. Together, we build practical skills to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, increase confidence, improve focus, and create meaningful change.

A core part of my work involves helping clients identify their personal values and use those values as a guide for decision making and growth. Whether someone is navigating life transitions, academic or career stress, relationship challenges, ADHD related difficulties, or a loss of direction, I strive to help them build a life that feels authentic and aligned with what matters most to them.

As a psychiatric provider, I offer both therapy and medication management, allowing for a comprehensive and individualized treatment approach. When medication is appropriate, it is thoughtfully integrated into a broader plan focused on long-term growth, resilience, and improved quality of life.

I am especially passionate about working with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, challenge limiting beliefs, strengthen self-confidence, and learn how to move forward even when anxiety, uncertainty, or self-doubt are present.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you as a person, not just your symptoms. We'll discuss what brings you to treatment, the challenges you're facing, what you've tried in the past, and what you hope to achieve moving forward.

Together, we'll explore important aspects of your life, including relationships, work or school, personal strengths, values, and any factors that may be contributing to your current struggles. If appropriate, we'll also review your mental health history and discuss whether medication may be a helpful part of your treatment plan.

My approach is collaborative, supportive, and tailored to your individual needs. You can expect a judgment free environment where we work together to develop a deeper understanding of your experiences and begin identifying practical steps toward meaningful change. By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of my approach and a plan for moving forward that aligns with your goals and values. Our first session will be virtual but I am able to have in person visits if desired, and this will be something we discuss as well in our first session.
