Great to meet you!

I’m Ms. Sachele, a Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and MSDE-certified school psychologist with over 20 years of experience supporting children, teens, and families. I hold a Master’s degree and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology, with additional graduate studies in counseling completed at the University of Baltimore.

My approach is individualized, warm, and solution oriented. I use CBT, mindfulness and play-based strategies to support clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, autism, family and peer challenges, school and sports performance, life transitions, and everyday stressors. I strive to create a safe space where children and teens feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel engaging, supportive, and meaningful. I use a variety of creative, age-appropriate approaches, including affirmations, games, cinematography and media, reading, discussion, reflection, and active skill rehearsal. Sessions are designed to help children and teens feel comfortable while building emotional awareness, coping skills, confidence, and practical strategies they can use in everyday life. I also work closely family involvement when helpful to support lasting progress beyond the therapy session.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about getting comfortable, getting to know each other, and making therapy feel like a space where you can be yourself. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’d like help with, and what you hope to accomplish.

With children and teens, I use games, conversation, creativity, and activities to build rapport and make sessions feel natural—not like another class or appointment. Together, we’ll create a simple roadmap for therapy and identify skills we can practice along the way.

As therapy continues, sessions will be interactive and individualized, with plenty of opportunities to talk, play, reflect, practice new skills, celebrate progress, and build confidence.
