Great to meet you!

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or simply stuck—even though you’re doing your best to keep everything together? Maybe you’ve been carrying stress for so long that you no longer remember what it feels like to truly relax. Perhaps your thoughts won’t quiet down, your emotions feel difficult to manage, or experiences from the past continue to affect how you feel, think, and connect with others.

You may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, grief, a major life transition, or ongoing stress. You may struggle with setting boundaries, communicating your needs, managing emotions, rebuilding trust, or finding your confidence and sense of direction. Sometimes, there isn’t one specific problem—you simply know that something doesn’t feel right anymore and you want to understand why.

You might be the person everyone depends on—the one who takes care of everyone else while quietly struggling inside. You may have become so accustomed to pushing through that asking for help feels uncomfortable. Or perhaps the coping strategies that once worked no longer seem to be enough.

Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Therapy can provide a safe, supportive space to slow down, feel heard, and make sense of what you’ve been carrying. Together, we can explore what may be keeping you stuck, understand patterns that affect your well-being and relationships, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.

You deserve support—not because you are weak, but because you have been carrying a lot. Reaching out for help can be the first step toward healing, growth, and feeling like yourself again.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe that healing begins with a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, heard, and accepted without judgment. I view each client as the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools that help you achieve your personal goals.

I tailor treatment to your unique needs by integrating Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, and person-centered therapy. Together, we will explore the impact of past experiences, develop healthy coping strategies, strengthen resilience, and build practical skills to manage life's challenges.

As a bilingual (English/Spanish) Clinical Mental Health Therapist, I strive to provide culturally responsive care that honors each person's background, values, and lived experiences. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, or major life transitions, I am committed to creating a supportive space where healing, growth, and lasting change can occur.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. I will spend time understanding what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process.

We will also review relevant background information, including personal history, strengths, and any previous experiences with therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no pressure to share everything at once—my goal is to help you feel safe and in control of the process.

Together, we will begin identifying initial goals for treatment and discuss how therapy may support you moving forward. I will also explain confidentiality, the therapeutic process, and answer any questions you may have.

Most importantly, the first session is about building connection and trust so you can decide whether I am the right fit for your needs and begin the journey toward healing at your own pace.
