Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience treating depression, stress, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and currently practice as a therapist in the state of North Carolina.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment approaches to help you achieve your goals and create meaningful, lasting change. Because every individual is unique, I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I tailor treatment to your specific needs, strengths, and preferences by drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities, including Mindfulness-Based practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Theory, and Self-Compassion approaches.

My goal is to help you develop a deeper understanding of yourself while building practical skills and tools that support your emotional well-being and personal growth. I believe that having access to a variety of perspectives, strategies, and resources empowers you to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and resilience. Since therapy is a collaborative process, I highly value your feedback and experiences throughout our work together. Your input helps ensure that our approach remains aligned with your goals and that we are focusing on what feels most helpful and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where we begin getting to know one another and building a foundation of trust. During our first session, we will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring relevant background information, and talking through any current challenges, concerns, or patterns you may be experiencing. We will also begin identifying your goals, hopes, and what meaningful change would look like for you. Together we will work toward improving your overall well-being and creating a life that feels more aligned with your values and needs. As we work together, we may explore lifestyle patterns and how they impact mental health, learn new skills, and examine thought patterns that can make it difficult to recognize our strengths, resilience, and potential. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy, so we will focus on finding what works best for you. Our first session is an opportunity to begin creating a plan that feels personalized, supportive, and meaningful to you.
