Great to meet you!

If you are carrying anxiety, burnout, the weight of a big life transition, or patterns you cannot quite break on your own, you deserve a space that is both supportive and honest. I'm Dr. Samantha Knox, a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice since 2018, with a doctorate in Counselor Education and a deep commitment to serving marginalized communities. I help clients feel supported and empowered while gently challenging the patterns that get in the way, so you can move toward the person you want to be. If that resonates, I would love to connect.

My approach to therapy

I believe that counseling helps clients feel supported and empowered, yet challenged to explore and identify patterns that may be getting in one's way. Whether we're exploring anxiety, depression, relationships, burnout, or life transitions, my goal is to collaborate with the client to guide them towards their ideal self. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) techniques.

What you can expect from me

We start with a free 15-minute consultation to make sure we are the right fit, with no pressure either way. If we move forward, our first full session is a relaxed conversation

where I get to know you, what brought you in, and what you are hoping for. You never have to share more than you are ready to, and you can expect to leave with a clearer

sense of how we will work together.
