Great to meet you!

I am a licensed social worker practicing in Maryland and Virginia with a diverse clinical background spanning private practice, community mental health, inpatient psychiatric care, and case management. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a psychology minor from Hollins University. Grounded in this training, I view mental well-being through a holistic lens, recognizing that an individual's stressors cannot be separated from the complex family, community, and medical systems they navigate.

I specialize in women's mental health needs which began following my own pregnancy and postpartum journey in 2019. I have specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health as well as Perimenopause. Additionally, as a military spouse, I am deeply committed to serving fellow military spouses, particularly those navigating the unique challenges associated with the Intelligence Community (IC).

My approach to therapy

You are the expert on your life; I’m here to help you navigate it. I use an integrative, relationship-focused approach tailored to what you bring into session each week—whether that’s untangling past patterns, managing stress, or just figuring out what comes next.

My clinical approach is based in feminism, systems theory, and humanistic psychology. I use an eclectic approach pulling skills and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT). If you would like to know more about my approach, and what it means for you, please contact me for a free consult.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel heavy, and I want you to know you're in the driver's seat. You never have to share more than you're ready for right away. In our first session, we will simply talk about what brings you in and what you hope to get out of our time together. More than anything, it is a chance for us to see if we're a good match.
