Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Samantha Maybern, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals and families feel supported, understood, and empowered. I have experience working with children, adults, and families facing anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and relationship stress. My approach is compassionate, practical, and strengths-based, while also honoring each client’s values and personal journey. I believe healing happens through connection, trust, and learning new ways to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and practical. I work with clients to create a safe space where they feel heard, understood, and respected. I use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to help clients better understand their emotions, build healthy coping skills, improve communication, and create meaningful change. I often support clients and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, parenting stress, and family conflict.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space to share what brings them to therapy. We will spend time getting to know each other, discussing current concerns, personal strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. Together, we will begin identifying goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and more comfortable with the therapy process.
