Great to meet you!
Samantha “Sami” Waterhouse, LMFT (she/her), is a licensed marriage and family therapist providing individual and couples therapy, serving teens, adults, and couples throughout the Seacoast New Hampshire and Rockingham County area. She offers a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported in creating meaningful change.
Sami works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, marital challenges, and life transitions. She takes a collaborative, strength-based approach, helping clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools for everyday life.
In couples therapy, Sami focuses on communication, emotional connection, and relationship patterns to support healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
Sami enjoys working with teens who may be struggling with anxiety, stress, emotional regulation, or life transitions, and she creates an approachable environment where teens can build confidence and healthy coping skills. When appropriate, she collaborates with caregivers to support growth and communication.
Her integrative approach draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, attachment-based work, and communication skills training. Sami holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Plymouth State University, with additional experience in a partial hospitalization setting.
