Great to meet you!

Welcome!

My name is Sandra Angulo, and I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. I hold advanced degrees in psychiatric and mental health nursing with certifications in both therapy and psychiatric medication management. I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care tailored to the unique developmental needs of children, teens and young adults.

My training and clinical experience have equipped me to diagnose, treat, and support a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, behavioral challenges, trauma-related conditions and emotion regulation difficulties.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strength-based. In our work together, I aim to create a space that is safe, respectful, and judgement-free, where clients can show up as they are, feel heard and begin to heal. I believe in a collaborative and strength-based approach that honors each individual's unique story and potential.

What you can expect from me

The goals I typically set with clients include:

Building emotional resilience and self-awareness.

Strengthening family communication and support systems.

Learning effective coping tools and behavior strategies.

Reducing distressing symptoms while promoting long-term mental health.

Empowering kids, teens, and caregivers with knowledge and confidence.

Whether we're working through therapy, exploring medication options, or supporting a family system as a whole, I believe in meeting clients where they are, with kindness, curiosity, and care.

My goal is to ultimately empower clients and families toward health, growth and greater well-being. I look forward to meeting you and supporting your journey.
