Hi, I'm Sandy! I am a Minnesota Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC), National Certified Addiction Counselor II (NCAC II), Substance Abuse Professional, Registered Yoga Teacher, and Certified Grief Educator with a master's degree in Co-Occurring Disorders Counseling. I have over 30 years of experience working across a wide range of healthcare settings with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My specializations include depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss, substance use, disordered eating, justice-involved individuals, and blended families. In 2021, I published my first book, Charlie the Therapy Dog, and I'm currently writing my second, Sober Dog, Reflections & Journal. I am a counselor, speaker, advocate, volunteer, and writer who is deeply committed to this work in every dimension of my life.
