Great to meet you!

As a doctoral-level psychologist with over a decade of experience, I specialize in navigating the complex intersections of life’s most challenging landscapes. My background is deeply rooted in service and diversity; I have spent years supporting a wide spectrum of individuals, from military families, couples, and Veterans to diverse communities across the U.S. This journey has provided me with deep expertise in working with people across the entire lifespan—whether they are immigrants navigating the stress of acculturation, Veterans processing service-related experiences, or individuals facing the heavy overlap of trauma and chronic health issues.

Having practiced in settings ranging from intensive inpatient units to the delicate space of palliative care, I bring a calm, seasoned perspective to even the most overwhelming life challenges. I understand that when you are in the midst of a crisis or feeling "stuck" in a cycle of trauma and pain, you need a therapist who is both steady and highly skilled. My goal is to provide a safe, expert space where we can untangle these experiences together, helping you find a path toward resilience and clarity.

My approach to therapy

I believe that insight without action is incomplete. My philosophy is deeply relational and integrative, meaning I prioritize our connection while drawing from a robust toolkit of evidence-based interventions. I am certified in several gold-standard treatments, including CPT for trauma, CBT for Chronic Pain, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

For those seeking to improve their relationships, I incorporate specialized tools from Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT) and the Gottman Method. By blending these practical relationship skills with psychodynamic insights, we work together to uncover how your past experiences shape your current beliefs and relationship patterns. My goal is to move beyond "just talking" to help you build the self-awareness and tangible tools needed for lasting empowerment and connection.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step into therapy requires immense courage, and I honor that by creating a space of transparency and collaboration. In our first session, our primary goal is to ensure we are a good match. We will discuss what is bringing you to therapy right now—whether it is anxiety, trauma, or a sense of being "stuck"—and explore your specific needs and desires for the future. You can expect a conversational, non-judgmental environment where we define your goals and discuss how my expertise can best serve your growth. You are the expert on your life; I am here to serve as your guide to help you function at your absolute best.
