Great to meet you!

Are you struggling with emotional eating, binge eating, restriction, anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, or feeling overwhelmed by emotions? Do you find yourself constantly self-critical or feeling as though you are never good enough despite trying so hard to hold everything together? Perhaps food has become a way to cope, numb emotions, or regain a sense of control while internally feeling exhausted, disconnected, or stuck. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders and trauma while also helping individuals and families navigate anxiety, depression, interpersonal stress, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I offer a safe and supportive environment where you can openly share your concerns that contribute to your distress. It is important to me that you feel understood and validated in our conversations. I will draw on techniques that have been shown to be effective in research to help people who have similar problems like you. Our sessions will be solution-focused, goal-oriented, and time-limited, allowing us to work collaboratively towards achieving positive outcomes using CBT, CBT-AR, CBT-E, CPT, DBT, DBT-PE, FBT, FBI, SPACE, and SPACE for ARFID.

What you can expect from me

During the first session also called intake, I will ask a lot of questions to get to know you better and will clarify your priorities and goals in therapy. I will communicate clearly what you can expect from therapy before we start, so you feel understood and heard. Treatment will be flexible and addresses your needs in every session. As a result, you will learn helpful tools that empower you to manage your life more effectively, fostering personal growth, and resilience.
