Great to meet you!

I'm a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong commitment to compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. Experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals across the lifespan with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and serious mental illness. Dedicated to collaborative care, patient education, and culturally responsive practice that support long-term wellness and recovery.

My approach to therapy

I believe in treating the whole person not just symptoms. I work collaboratively with patients to create an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy, and lifestyle support. My approach is compassionate, non-judgmental, and grounded in evidence-based practice with the goal of helping individuals feel empowered, understood, and supported on their mental health journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, my priority is to get to know you and understand what brings you in. This visit is a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can share your concerns at your own pace.

We will talk about your current symptoms, emotional well-being, and any challenges that you may be experiencing. I will ask you about your medical history, mental health history, medication, sleep, stressors, and lifestyle factors. This helps me form a complete picture of your mental and physical health.

If appropriate i may complete a psychiatric assessment and discuss a possible diagnosis in a collaborative and transparent way. Together, we will explore treatment options, which may include medication, therapy recommendations, coping strategies, or lifestyle support. No decisions are made without your input.

You'll have time to ask questions, express concerns, and talk about your goals. By the end of the visit, we will develop an initial plan that feels comfortable, realistic, and aligns with your needs. Follow-up visits will allow us to monitor progress, make adjustments, and continue building a therapeutic relationship.
