Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Sara (SaraBeth) and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Appalachian State University and obtained my Masters of Social Work from Metropolitan State University of Denver!

I specialize in working with children and adolescents with anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. I have spent the last seven years working with elementary-aged children in a school setting to help children better understand their emotions and cope with daily struggles!

My approach to therapy

I am here to help my clients navigate through the challenges and struggles life brings. I will always utilize a trauma-informed approach in building relationships with my clients. I utilize strength-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to help support client needs. I also believe in the power of therapeutic play and expressive arts!

What you can expect from me

I offer a safe, empathetic and compassionate space to allow clients to explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop skills to cope with the complexities of life. I expect clients to leave sessions feeling empowered, seen, heard and understood!
