Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker, specializing in supporting individuals who are navigating grief, loss, stress and anxiety, chronic or terminal illness, and major life transitions. I take an integrative, person-centered approach that considers the body-mind connection, including the simultaneous emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical challenges that may accompany trauma.

My approach to therapy

I balance insight-based work to build greater self-understanding with skills for present-moment stress reduction and coping strategies, including mindfulness. Rather than seeing you as a problem that needs to be fixed, we will tap into the wisdom you have gained through your lived experience. My goal is to help my clients find meaning and hope amidst suffering; experience greater awareness and psychological flexibility; and live in alignment with their deepest values.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, you can expect a nonjudgmental, warm space that honors your unique story, including your background, family, culture and environment. I emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and incorporate techniques for stress reduction to help clients find greater ease and emotional relief, even amidst challenging circumstances.
