Great to meet you!

It's so hard to ask for help, isn't it? I specialize in grief, and my clients are frequently depressed, anxious, and overwhelmed by the complexity of their circumstances and emotions. I help people grieve, build resilience, and navigate a new chapter. Many of my clients are experiencing caregiver strain as they begin caring for elderly parents or spouses, and I provide guidance on a variety of stressors related to caregiving.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I am non-judgemental, personable, and an empathetic listener. I employ evidence based approaches, including interventions based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I offer teletherapy at days and times that are convenient for you. I am happy to speak with anyone who would like to schedule an initial conversation or gather more information.

What you can expect from me

I often use CBT and Motivational Interviewing in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what you're hoping to achieve and together come up with a plan to help you succeed. CBT teaches you how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During sessions, you'll learn how to change those thoughts to start feeling better.
