Great to meet you!

I am Sarah Abugah, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals across the lifespan.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, with specialized training in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. With a strong foundation in both nursing and psychiatry, I focus on treating the whole person—mind, body, and environment.

In my practice, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to understand your challenges and build a path forward. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapeutic interventions, tailored to your individual goals and needs.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health professional, I am passionate about helping people overcome their mental health challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

My goal as a mental health professional is to empower my clients through empathy, respect, and cultural sensitivity. I am committed to using evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest research to provide the most effective treatment possible. Treatment will be provided for each unique individual diagnosis and medication regimen.

I believe that everyone has the potential to thrive, regardless of their past experiences or current struggles, and I am committed to working collaboratively with my clients to support them in reaching their goals.

What you can expect from me

My clients should expect an individualized treatment plan with emphasis on psychiatric diagnosis and explanation, medication recommendations and education, therapy referrals or self-guided tools and lifestyle and coping strategies.
