Sarah Black

I work to provide an encouraging environment for individuals and families to build healthy skills and balanced lives. I specialize in working with children up to young adults. I include caregivers when helpful and enjoy the creative spirit, imagination, and capacity for growth within this demographic. I am passionate about being inclusive of all sexualities, gender expressions, and cultures.

I am fully trained in EMDR and frequently incorporate mindfulness into my sessions. I strive to meet clients where they are and tailor my approach to fit their needs. I encourage sharing to the comfort level of the client finding, a gentle and welcoming atmosphere to be most healing.

I am certified in Animal Assisted Therapy and often provide this with my co-therapist cat Niles.
