Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland dedicated to helping clients create meaningful change, build emotional resilience, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. I provide a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences and work toward personal growth.

I received my Master of Theological Studies in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary where I completed advanced training in mental health assessment, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

I specialize in supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, stress, overwhelm, depression, relationship challenges and communication, life transitions, burnout and compassion fatigue with Caregiving, women's mental health, Grief and loss.

I am experienced in working with adults, couples seeking healthier connection and conflict resolution, young adults navigating identity, transitions, and relationships, professionals and caregivers coping with burnout, individuals healing from trauma or emotional disconnection.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and customized to each client, drawing from CBT, mindfulness-based practices, solution-focused, attachment work, and person-centered principles. I have additional certification and continuing education in areas including IFS, CBT, and EFT and am currently being trained in EMDR. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, empowering, and tailored to fit you your unique needs.

What you can expect from me

Your first counseling session is a chance for us to get to know each other, understand what brings you to therapy, and begin building a sense of safety and direction. Many clients feel a mix of relief and nervousness - both are completely normal. You can expect a warm welcome and orientation reviewing confidentiality and how therapy works. Next you will have a space to share your story at your won pace. Clarify your therapy goals, a brief mental health assessment, begin a personalized treatment plan, and you will have a chance to ask questions. My focus is your safety, connection, and comfort.
