Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a mental health clinician dedicated to helping adolescents and adults navigate emotional and behavioral challenges. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I earned my Master in Social Work at the University of Kansas (KU), and have training and experience working with a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and emotional regulation. I utilize evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to build skills that promote lasting growth and well-being. My style is warm, genuine, and collaborative. I am often described by others as gentle, while also willing to challenge when needed to foster meaningful change. I take a holistic approach to treatment, recognizing the connection between emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and environmental factors that influence our overall well-being, You are a whole person with unique strengths and challenges, and I am here for you!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will complete an intake assessment to gather information about your background, personal history, and current concerns or factors that may be impacting you. Together, we will identify your goals for therapy and what you hope to gain from treatment. This information helps us create a personalized plan that supports your needs and sets the foundation towards progress.
