Great to meet you!

I'm a licensed clinical social worker, military veteran, and military spouse, and I've spent much of my career working with people who are very good at carrying a lot. I work with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, major life transitions, motherhood, and the pressures that come with demanding roles and relationships. My clinical background includes years of providing and leading behavioral health care in military settings, which has shaped the way I understand resilience, identity, relationships, and what can happen when pressure begins to build. I want therapy to be a place where you can put some of that responsibility down and give some of that attention back to yourself--not another place where you have to hold everything together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and active. I'll take the time to understand the full picture of what's going on, while also helping you identify patterns, build practical skills, and make meaningful changes outside of our sessions. I draw from evidence-based approaches while tailoring therapy to the person in front of me--because good therapy should never feel one-size-fits-all. I'll support you, but I'll also challenge you when it's helpful, and we'll be thoughtful about what actually works for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not a test. I'll spend time getting to know you, what brought you to therapy, what life looks like right now, and what you hope might be different. You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or where to begin, and you won't be expected to share anything before you're ready. By the end, we'll have a clearer sense of what you need, where we might start, and whether working together feels like the right fit.
